The next generation of innovation in CAFEC's constant pursuit of greater efficiency and performance, Abaca+ Paper Filters are produced using a fine-grained crepe technique. By narrowing the distance between each crepe and increasing surface area with an even more uniform texture, Abaca+ filters are designed to allow a faster flow rate and to put control more firmly in the hands of skilled brewers. Even faster than the regular Abaca filters.
Composed with a blend of non-wood Abaca (also known as Manila hemp) and wood pulp, CAFEC Abaca Paper Filters feature good air and liquid permeability, strength and elasticity, and are highly regarded for the quality of cup they yield.
The Abaca+ paper filter uses a fine-grained process to increase the surface area of the paper by reducing the crepe spacing, and helps achieves a more uniform extraction. This paper further increases the extraction speed, making it possible to have more control in extraction through the pouring process.
